Eugene Bozza's "Rustiques". This is a live performance - no edits, fixes, or anything else.

My arrangement for jazz orchestra of Horace Silver's "Cooking at the Continental", edited down to only the trumpets and rhythm section. I've never been that happy with the solo on this recording, but I am proud of the section and lead work! I am playing all five trumpet parts.

I don't have a lot of videos / recordings of my saxophone playing, but here's a nice one. This is the New Memphis Hepcats performing live for a TV broadcast. I am on baritone sax.

Here's an arrangement I did of "Death By Glamour", from the video game Undertale. I'm playing all the parts, and it features some of the less common horns I play: there are solos by bass saxophone, bass flute, and alto flute, and also parts for bass clarinet and alto trumpet.

This is my only arrangement to date of a trumpet ensemble, a cover of the magnificent fugue "On Reflection". It's arranged for seven instruments: 5 trumpets in different keys, cornet and flugelhorn.

"Nightsongs" by Richard Peaslee. This piece features the soloist mostly playing flugelhorn and also doubling on Bb trumpet. I enjoy this piece as a rare chance to play classical solo literature on the flugelhorn. This is a live recording from one of my recitals.

A strange adaptation of Gentle Giant's "The Face" for big horn section. Here I tackle some fancy trumpet, sax, and clarinet parts and get to improvise on both clarinet and the rarely-heard F alto trumpet.

Another good example of my ability to play both lead and section trumpets, this is my arrangement of Sonny Stitt's "Eternal Triangle" for jazz orchestra augmented with two F horns. I am playing all five trumpet parts as well as the non-solo sax parts (alto 2, tenor 2, and baritone sax).

This is my college jazz combo playing Charlie Parker's "Billie's Bounce". The group was small when I started the job, and I am playing trumpet to give us one more voice and more repertoire options. Besides the impressive playing by my students - all freshmen and sophomores! - I thought I got a pretty decent solo in there myself. I'd love to take credit for the idea of playing the tune at half tempo, then suddenly speeding up, but that was my students' idea!

The famous opening to Mahler's fifth symphony, played on Bb trumpet.

A quick home demo recording I made of Donald Fagen's "Maxine". The original features dense, four-part harmony vocals, and I rearranged it for four alto flutes, assisted by bass clarinet and trumpet. I am playing all the parts. I don't play flute with incredible technical mastery, but I can get a really nice sound out of the flute and alto flute.
